An E-Type Pressure Regulating Valve (PRV) is a valve used in fire hydrant and wet riser systems to control and maintain a safe outlet pressure at the landing valve or hydrant outlet.
Its main purpose is to reduce high water pressure in firefighting pipelines so that firefighters can operate hoses safely and effectively.
